On the balcony of my first apartment in Birganj, Nepal, around July 2002 and just a few months in to my Peace Corps experience.

This photo was taken about a month after arriving in Birganj, Nepal, to begin my Peace Corps service after completing training. This was my first apartment in Birganj, a nice place, but I shifted twice during the two years I lived in Birganj.
