Retrained: Revisiting Pre-Service Training

First impressions
Due to a glitch in the Peace Corps mechanism, I have been asked to come to the Peace Corps PST site and teach in a model class for the new folks, the PCTs, to learn from. I could fly, but I've decided to take a bus to Bhairahawa, where the PST is being held.

Maha Shivaratri
I remember how my host family explained Maha Shivaratri to me a year ago when I was living in Gaidankot. I asked how they would celebrate, and they just shook her hand, grimaced, and non-verbally said,
We don't.With a wild gesture.
